Waking up with the waves on Friday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're seeing a little more energy this morning, but it's still on the small side.
We're starting off with some pretty clean conditions, with a mix of increasing west-northwest swell, some northwest energy and southerly swell in the background. That recipe is offering some crumbly lines, with a few fun ones. You can probably break out any board out of the old quiver today.
Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee- to maybe waist-high, with the focal points pulling a few bigger ones.

Unfortunately, we're still dealing with those extreme tides, so if you can, you'll want to get out there once the tide has dropped a bit, but before it drains out all the way.
At 9:26 this morning the tide climbs up to a 5.4 high, which will have many breaks off to a slow start. The tide drops to a negative 0.3 low at 4:07 this afternoon.

If you're going to get wet, you'll need at least a 3/2 fullsuit and possibly the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
