Waking up with the waves on Friday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well it's showing a little more energy out there, but overall it's still pretty small. You can probably break out a log or an SUP and find a few rideable waves at certain spots.
The conditions are nice and clean early on, with a mix of some small west-northwest swell, a little northwest energy and minor dose of southwesterly swell in the background.
That recipe is making for some crumbly and a bit dumpy lines, with a few workable ones. Most Laguna Beach spots are hanging in the knee-high range, with the top breaks pulling thigh-high waves, with an occasional plus set.

Taking a look at those tides...at 10:50 this morning it drops to a 1.1 low and then doesn't push back up to a 4.6 high until 3:34 early Saturday morning. So, basically your not going to see much change throughout the day.
If you're going to grab a session, you'll want to throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
