Global Grins Spread A Million Smiles In Laguna Beach

The Friendship Shelter of Laguna Beach was the recipient of the Millionth Toothbrush, thanks to Global Grins.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — It began with a dream, and a mission to share and distribute toothbrushes around the world. Global Grins was founded by Laguna Beach residents Todd and Joselyn Miller in 2010. Over the past 18 years, they have shared tooth brushes with the needy in over 100 countries and almost every state.

The Millers, who loved to travel, realized that not everyone had access to such a simple hygiene tool--toothbrushes.

They have delivered toothbrushes to orphanages, shelters, schools and to military personnel. Most recently, for their 1,000,000th toothbrush, they delivered right around the corner to the Friendship Shelter of Laguna Beach.

“When you see the images of these children and the conditions they live in, and then see them light up when they receive a toothbrush knowing it will improve their daily life, all of our hard work is worth it,” Todd Miller told the Laguna Beach Independent. They will continue to share tooth brushes, their mission, and brighten the world with smiles.
