Help Laguna Beach Seniors By Donating Gently-Used Treasures
Residents were asked to consider donating items such as scarves, purses, kitchenware and more for this month's Susi Q Bargain Bonanza.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA β A Bargain Bonanza at the Susi Q Senior and Community Center in Laguna Beach is underway and scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21, presenting residents with the special opportunity to support their city's seniors.
On Monday, Bargain Bonanza organizers announced that they would be seeking new or gently-used donations such as jewelry, purses, kitchenware, clocks, hats, scarves and vases for the yearly cash-only event.
Residents can donate items Oct. 9 through Oct. 20 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Susi Q Center, 380 Third St. According to an event flyer, clothing, furniture and other oversized items will not be accepted.

In addition, organizers may have to turn some items away due to limited space.
The donated treasures will be purchased by residents on the day of the Bargain Bonanza and given new homes, with proceeds going toward the purchase of Bingo prizes for Laguna Beach seniors, as well as support toward the Laguna Beach High School Scholarship Fund for LBHS students.

The annual Susi Q Bargain Bonanza takes place on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Susi Q Center, 380 Third St.
