Helping Hand Worldwide receives Grant from the Rotary Club of Laguna Beach!

Helping Hand Worldwide, a Laguna Beach based non-profit, announces the receipt of a 2016 Community Grant from the Rotary Club of Laguna Beach. “We couldn’t be happier” says Mrs. Sita Helms, Executive Director of Helping Hand Worldwide. The $1,500 grant will be used to help us with program expenses associated with our Mobile Food Pantry in Laguna Beach.

Dedicated to helping feed recipients in need, our Mobile Food Pantry delivers fresh and healthy food to locations throughout Orange County. However, our focus in Laguna Beach is on deliveries to residents of the Vista Aliso Apartments and to the Suzi Q. Senior Center. Helping Hand Worldwide truly appreciates the community grant from the Laguna Beach Rotary! Every year operating costs increase and this funding will help us continue our free food distributions for recipients at both locations.
