High Humidity, Lots Of Heat In Laguna Beach Through Friday

Laguna Beach residents can expect more blistering temperatures this week and a chance of thunderstorms late into the weekend.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach residents will not get much of a reprieve from the heat until this weekend, according to an extended heat advisory issued by the National Weather Service Monday.

The excessive heat advisory was extended until Friday, according to a NWS report, as Orange County gets scorched by an ongoing late-summer heat wave that ushered in triple-digit temperatures starting last week.

On Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures in Laguna Beach will drop from the blistering '90s to the mid-'80s, according to Accuweather. While temperatures will inch down, humidity is expected to be at a high throughout the week.
