Hospitality Night In Laguna Beach: 2019
The first Friday each December the City of Laguna Beach and the Chamber of Commerce jointly sponsor Hospitality Night.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach's annual Hospitality Night returns on Friday, December 6. There, Residents will gather together, to sing carols, mingle with neighbors, and watch Santa light the tree.
The annual event takes place on the first Friday of each December. The City of Laguna Beach, together with the Chamber of Commerce, jointly sponsor Hospitality Night each year.
Hospitality Night 2019 will be held on Friday December 6 from approximately 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

"After the tree is lit, the Community Services Department has arranged activities for the community including music by the Thurston Middle School band, a community sing-along, cookie decorating, arts and crafts, and letter writing to the troops," the city of Laguna Beach wrote on their website. "Santa will of course be in his house on lower Forest Avenue to meet families for photos. Downtown merchants, non-profit organizations and the Chamber of Commerce will also provide activities, open houses, and live musical entertainment."

3:30 p.m. Downtown street closures begin*
4 p.m. - 11 p.m. Free trolley service
5:15 - 5:45 p.m. Elementary school choirs performs
5:15 - 5:45 p.m. Thurston Middle School Band performs in the Peppertree Lot
5:30 - 7 p.m. Enjoy crafts, cookie decorating, and writing letters to overseas troops in the Peppertree Lot
6:15 - 7 p.m. Community Concert Band performs on Beach Street
6 p.m. - 6:10 p.m. Community sing along in Peppertree Lot
6:10 p.m. Santa Claus arrives at the Peppertree Lot to light the tree
6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Santa Claus arrives at his hut to listen to children's Christmas wishes
6:45 p.m. - 10 p.m. Business open houses and live music on stage at the Coast Highway end of Forest Avenue
The festivities will take place in the Peppertree Lot (Lot 2 between Ocean and Forest Avenues), where Santa Claus will arrive to greet holiday revelers before the tree lighting at 6:10 p.m. Lower Forest Avenue will be filled with entertainment and merchant open houses. Street closures in the downtown area will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Portions of Forest Avenue, Beach Street, and the Pepper Tree Parking Lot will be closed to vehicular traffic prior to and during the event. Free public parking will be available at the City’s Forest/Laguna Canyon (Lot 11), Lumberyard (Lot 12) and Community and Susi Q Center (Lot 13) parking lots.
