Hummingbird Gardens Presentation

South Orange County hummingbird expert Monique Rea will present “Jewels of Nature: Hummingbirds in Your Garden” at Laguna Beach Garden Club upcoming meeting/ The presentation will take place on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Laguna Beach Presbyterian Church, in Tankersley Hall, located at 415 Forest Ave. Registration and social hour is from 9:30-10 AM. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Monique has worked with and rehabilitated hummingbirds, for the past 17 years in South Orange County. She volunteers for the Pacific Wildlife Project by rescuing injured hummingbirds and providing nests in her yard. Monique is also an artist and author whose work has been inspired by hummingbirds. Each audience member will receive an art postcard of one of her paintings (attachment).
