Hundreds Attend Skyloft Premiere Of 'Everything Laguna Beach'

A local Laguna Beach realtor has shown the city of Laguna Beach like never before.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — What is it like to live in Laguna Beach? The new 12-minute movie "Everything Laguna Beach" attempts to show anyone who wants to live, work or visit the gem of Orange County.

The feature film "Everything Laguna Beach" was a labor of love for creator and concept designer Joseph Ballesteros.

Laguna Beach's Skyloft was packed with over 300 partygoers there to celebrate the highly touted film that advertises the beauty and luxury of the Laguna lifestyle.

Jason Feddy and Tyler Russel narrated the 12-minute feature, with a decidedly "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" feel. The feature includes music by Nick Hernandez and Common Sense. Feddy and Russel, the voices of the film, are DJs on Laguna’s only FM radio station KX 93.5. This film was Ballesteros's first production venture, self funded, with a nod from Visit Laguna Beach.

Everyone who has watched MTV or Real Housewives thinks they know Laguna, but that wasn't the image that Ballesteros said Laguna needed.

“We wanted to tell a story that depicts the feel of Laguna in a way the people who lived here would be proud of,” Ballesteros said. He worked with filmmaker John Barrett, a life-long Laguna Beach resident. "When I shared my vision of the project he got it immediately and was just as excited as I was.”

The film shows Laguna beaches, businesses and restaurants from up above, as well as up close and personal. If you've never seen Pageant of the Masters, or Art Walk, take a look at the video for a feeling of what those events are like.

At the release party, hundreds gathered and donated to area charities through the silent auction and opportunity drawing that raised thousands for local non profits including SchoolPower, Friendship Shelter, the Laguna Beach Food Pantry and Project O.

Ballesteros has captured the essence of Laguna Beach culture and lifestyle for interested prospective visitors or residents. So, find yourself in "Everything Laguna Beach" and let us know where your favorite places are.
