Lanes Open On Laguna Canyon Road After Crash Stalls Traffic

A traffic advisory was issued by the City of Laguna Beach at 2:53 p.m. Friday after a car collision resulted in inbound lane closures.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Commuters driving through Laguna Beach may want to avoid inbound Laguna Canyon Road, city officials said Friday after a car collision prompted authorities to close all lanes but one while the crash site was cleared.

The lanes on Laguna Canyon Road traveling inbound remained closed for thirty minutes, authorities said. The traffic advisory was initially posted by the City of Laguna Beach at 2:53 p.m. and Laguna Canyon Road lanes reopened at 3:20 p.m.

The exact location of the crash was not immediately available, though the traffic advisory stated that the collision occurred on "inbound Laguna Canyon Road by the tennis courts."
