Interrupted Car Break-In Leads to Police Chase, Suspect on the Loose
The car chase ended in Lake Forest with one of two suspects arrested and the other last seen near the Sand Canyon Kaiser Permanente.

An interrupted vehicle burglary at the Shops at Mission Viejo today touched off a pursuit that led to Lake Forest, a sheriff’s official said.
The noon car break-in prompted deputies to chase the suspects, who got onto the Santa Ana (5) Freeway. The pursuit ended near Kaiser Permanente medical offices at Sand Canyon and the San Diego (405) Freeway, Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock said.
One of the suspects stayed with the car and was arrested, he said. Deputies were scouring the area for a second suspect, who was seen by a Kaiser employee running into the medical offices, Hallock said.
