Laguna Art Museum Awarded $3K Grant For Nature Programs

The grant was awarded by the Festival of Arts Foundation and will be used to better the museum's annual Art & Nature Family Festival.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Your local museum has something to celebrate, after the Laguna Art Museum received a $3,000 grant from the esteemed Festival of Arts Foundation this week.

According to museum organizers, the grant will be used to enhance the museum's eleventh annual Art & Nature Family Festival, a community event that offers a myriad of hands-on activities and educational stations for residents of all ages.

"We are honored to receive this extraordinary gift from the Festival of Arts Foundation, which will play a vital role in supporting our eleventh annual Art & Nature Family Festival,” Julie Perlin Lee, Executive Director of Laguna Art Museum, told Patch. “These essential funds will enable us to provide a remarkable opportunity for families to immerse themselves in the exploration of the art-nature connection."

The annual Art & Nature Family Festival will take place on Sunday, Nov. 5, and will include a docent-guided tour to the Main Beach Cobblestones, educational programming, art activities and more.
