Laguna Beach-Area Roadwork Planned Starting Monday, Oct. 5

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Overnight road work is planned along State Route 133, from the SR-73 overpass to Laguna Lakes Trail, starting Monday, Oct. 5, the California Department of Transportation alerted drivers.

The roadwork will take place from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Fridays. Work will be completed within approximately 60 working days,

The #2 Lane from the SR-73 overpass to Laguna Lakes Trail will be closed on October 5-8 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The construction work is part of a project to improve the pavement, delineation, and electrical features on SR-133, from SR-73 to Laguna Lakes Trail.

Please obey all posted signs and traffic instructions for the safety of Caltrans crews and travelers.

Caltrans appreciates the public’s patience while we perform this work. Electronic changeable message signs will notify drivers of the closure. The work schedule is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and/or construction-related issues.
