Laguna Beach Breakers Lose to Orange in Non Conference Game
In a non-conference game against Orange, the Laguna Beach Breakers were handed a 48-17 loss last night at El Modena High School Stadium.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The Laguna Beach Breakers come off a tough week one game to face Orange in a non-conference game Thursday, Sept. 15. In a late change to a Thursday night away game at El Modena High School Stadium, Laguna Beach High faced off against Orange.
Wearing maroon and white, the varsity Breakers under Coach John Shanahan attempted to shake off last week's loss against Segerstrom, a whopping 41-10.
With near-match rushing yard, Laguna Beach High School at just over 110-yards to Orange's 117, and way out-passing with over 225 yards, it was the hard hitting Orange tackles and defense that held the breakers to the 48-17 loss.

Now 2-2 for the season, (0-0 in conference play) the breakers look forward to conference play next week against St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano) on Friday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m.
Players to watch for this team, according to the LA Times include Jr. QB Curtis Harrison; Sr. WV Ryan Blaser; Sr. RB Bruce Knill.
