Laguna Beach Man Caught in Commercial Robbery Case
A Laguna Beach resident was named in a commercial burglary of an Irvine business today after the business owner identified him over remote

IRVINE, CA—Ryan James Adrig, a 23-year-old from Laguna Beach, was arrested for commercial burglary, vandalism and resisting arrest in the early hours of Aug. 4. The business owner's remote internet surveillance helped identify Adrig from footage taken during the vandalism and break in in Irvine.
The reporting alarm company alerted the business owner to leading to the arrest of the Laguna Beach resident.
The business owner used a live video surveillance feed to verify his business was being robbed.

"The owner was able to view the interior of his business to see the suspect walking around inside," the Irvine Police Department released in their report.
Officers responded to the business, then located the suspect from the surveillance video on Sand Canyon Avenue.

"Upon approaching Adrig, he quickly ran away from the officers, jumping over fences and walls," the report stated. "The short foot pursuit ended before Adrig was located and detained without further incident in the yard of the Irvine Animal Shelter."
The Irvine Police Department returned to the business, where a window was smashed in the front, however no other suspects were inside the building.
This investigation is ongoing, according to the Irvine Police Department.
