Laguna Beach: National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
Here's how to properly dispose of those unwanted, unused and expired medications properly this weekend near Laguna Beach, and across OC.

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — It's that time of year again. Bring your unwanted, unused and expired prescription medications to a drug collection center near you. The National Prescription Medication Take Back Day will take place Saturday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Near Laguna Beach, turn in your unwanted medications at any number of drop off locations. In Irvine, sponsored by the Irvine Police Department, a collection site is located at:
- Hoag Health Center, 16405 Sand Canyon Avenue
- Kaiser Permanente—Front Parking Lot, 6650 Alton Parkway
- Irvine Valley College, Irvine Valley Police Department—Parking Lot 5, CDC 100, 5500 Irvine Center Drive
Other drop off locations across Orange County include Anaheim, Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Rossmoor, San Juan Capistrano and Yorba Linda, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
