In 2020, Wyland Galleries will have its 42nd anniversary. This year has been a banner year for the artist, who recently recreated his original mural on a blank wall between Hotel Laguna and the Wyland Gallery.
In September, over 1,000 people came to commemorate the mural once again, taking its rightful place below the art studio. Local dignitaries Mayor Bob Whalen, the Laguna Beach City Council, and Hotel Laguna Beach owner Mo Honarkar were on hand to witness the reveal.

"Mo Honarkar generously allowed me to re-paint my original mural after it was whitewashed by the previous owner," Wyland said on Instagram. "It was a magical night for sure and great to see everyone enjoying themselves. I certainly did."
Wyland's art gallery is located at 509 S Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach.
