Ballet dancer Misty Copeland tied the knot with boyfriend Olu Evans at Laguna Beach's Montage Hotel's intimate venue before 100 guests.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA—The first African American principal ballet dancer, Misty Copeland, married her longtime boyfriend, Olu Evans on July 31 at the intimate Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach. The ideal setting for a private affair, this exclusive venue was the perfect backdrop for the occasion.
Though photos of Misty Copeland's wedding have yet to surface, the location at the Montage Hotel is an ideal spot for creating a romantic backdrop to celebrate true love.
The location of the hotel, perched on a coastal bluff above the Pacific Ocean, the Montage Laguna Beach resort is 30 acres of luxury. According to US Weekly, the bride and groom said their vows in front of an intimate crowd of 100 guests, overlooking the ocean, surrounded by pink hydrangeas and white roses.

From private beach, grassy lawns and swaying palm trees, the weather on Sunday was perfect for a Laguna Beach wedding. Recently chosen as one of Travel and Leisure's The Best Resort Hotels in California, The Montage rates high with facilities, location, service, food, and drink.
The Montage Laguna Beach's facebook page follows the hashtag #WeddingWednesday with pictures of wedding locations across the facility. Outdoor venues with floral arches, such as this one below, make a case for romance that spans the length of the mighty Pacific coastline, swept out as far as the eye can see.
Perhaps guests milled at an impromptu bar, such as this one, for a toast to the bride and groom.
As for the bride's gown? Pictures have yet to surface. The wedding ideas shown at Montage Laguna Beach's property facebook page are a mere hint of what is to come, but all across the world, ballerinas in training are watching Misty Copeland as their role model. A dancer who achieved her greatest dream to dance as ABT's principal dancer, and now, to dance through life with her longtime sweetheart.

On July 28, Oscar de la Renta posted the below image of Misty Copeland in a pre-fall 2016 bisque tulle gown, shown in Cosmopolitan magazine. With movement, elegance and grace, perhaps this gown was the one she selected to wear while walking down down the aisle.

Copeland made history last year when she accepted the role of principal dancer at New York City's American Ballet Theatre. With nearly 100,000 followers on Twitter, Misty Copeland is redefining beauty, elegance and grace.
According to her Cosmopolitan interview, Copeland approaches every day "like it's my first ballet class," she said. "I'm still that girl striving to get into the ABT."
