Laguna Canyon Road Closed Due To Crash

Multiple crashes on the road into Laguna Beach caused a traffic nightmare, Tuesday.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Traffic inbound to Laguna Beach was slowed to a crawl on Tuesday morning due to multiple collisions, police said.

The inbound lanes of Laguna Canyon and El Toro were closed due to a crash. That closure was expected to last until at least 9:30 a.m.

If possible, drivers were asked to seek alternate routes of travel.

An earlier crash occurred in the area of Laguna Canyon Road and Frontage Road, police said.

Drivers heading into town were rerouted onto Frontage Road for about an hour while officials cleaned up the wreck.

The incident was expected to return to normal by 9 a.m., police advised.
