The city of Laguna Beach is testing its emergency system by blaring sirens. This is only a test.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The City of Laguna Beach will blast its warning sirens on Tuesday afternoon, they alerted residents over the weekend.
This is only a test.
At 4 p.m. Tuesday, the sirens in place across the city will sound, the city alerted residents. There are 23 strategically placed outdoor sirens that can alert the public to emergencies like tsunamis and wildfires. The tests occur quarterly and include both a tone and an audio message from the police department.
