Laguna Beach Restaurant Closes Due To Fire

The owners behind Oliver's Osertia assured Laguna Beach residents that the eatery will be up and running again by late March.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A fire that broke out inside a Laguna Beach restaurant has closed it temporarily.

"Oliver's Osteria recently experienced a small fire. We are grateful to share that no one was harmed, and the situation was quickly contained," owners wrote on social media. "Out of an abundance of caution and in full cooperation with the City of Laguna Beach, we are temporarily closed."

The closure will remain in place while the restaurant completes all the repairs necessary to reopening, as well as filing the required permits to ensure the eatery is fully safe and up-to-code.

Owners said they anticipate Oliver's to reopen late March.

"We sincerely appreciate your patience, your support, and the messages of encouragement we have received during this time," owners said. "Your loyalty means everything to us."

The cause of the fire was not known.

Oliver's Osteria is located at 853 Laguna Canyon Rd.
