Local Wildlife's Favorite Hangout: Laguna Beach's Seal Rock
A Laguna Beach resident snapped this amazing picture of Laguna Beach's famed Seal Rock. A pelican on every point!

LAGUNA BEACH, CA —Seals, sea lions, and pelicans love to hang out on this bit of rock off of the South Orange County coastline.
Laguna Beach resident Wendy Thaders recently headed into the waters to capture this photo of the famed stone edifice favored by local marine wildlife. It is a favorite part of Laguna Beach for many locals, where scuba divers can see gorgeous fish—including the California state fish, the Garibaldi, sea lions, coral, and kelp forest.
On Monday, Thaders managed to capture this picture of Seal Rock with a pelican sitting on every point.
