Los Alamitos Tennis Team Volleys For Special Olympics
Southern California Special Olympics – Los Alamitos Wolves Tennis Team partner for pride, excellence.

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — The Los Alamitos Wolves Tennis Team recently had 8 athletes compete in the Orange County Regional Fall Games.
"The games were held on October 14th in Santa Ana and the Wolves represented themselves very well!" a Los Alamitos Unified School District Spokesperson said.
The team consists of athletes Carly Dodd, William Do-Trinh, Megan Malaklou, Josh Manso, Alejandro
Pedroza, Kyle Perez, Cory Quitugua, and Ryan Rodriguez. Along with the awesome athletes are dedicated volunteer coaches. The Wolves are coached by Mike Brennan, Nicole Cortez, Gerrylyn De Guia, Calvin Kwan, Jose Manso, Teri Monroy, and Karen Villarreal, and Gail Yaksitch. The athletes and coaches will compete in their next competition in South Gate on November 4th.

The City of Los Alamitos has partnered with the Southern California Special Olympics to form a local Special Olympics tennis team – the Los Alamitos Wolves. Through Special Olympics, athletes with intellectual disabilities gain confidence, self-esteem, and develop life skills in a fun, supportive team environment.
