Mailbox Theft On The Rise In Laguna Beach: Police
The Laguna Beach Police Department took to social media to warn residents of the rising trend Thursday.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A recent uptick in mail box thefts across Laguna Beach prompted police to take to social media to warn residents of the trend.
"There have been multiple incidents of post office mailbox thefts," the Laguna Beach Police Department said in a statement. "If you have the option, try electronic payments to avoid using a drop box or use the in-person delivery to the post office."
To report a mailbox theft crime in progress, residents were urged to call 911.
