California Minimum Wage Pay Raise For 2018

For 2018, Orange County employees will see a minimum wage pay raise increase to start the new year.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Residents of California who are earning minimum wage will see a slight pay increase starting January, 2018, according to the Labor Commissioner's Office.

"Although there are some exceptions, almost all employees in California must be paid the minimum wage as required by state law," they said.

As of Monday, January 1, pay-per-hour employees who work for companies that employ 26 or more employees will be $11 per hour. Companies that employ under 26 employees must pay $10.50 per hour.
