Monday Wave Check

Just about flat!

Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report.  Well, she's looking extremely tired out there.  Yep, the latest run of super small surf is sticking around for another day.  So, if nothing else, get out there and maybe go for a paddle before the weather starts to take a turn for the worse.

The conditions are fairly clean early on, but some spots are already seeing some texture on the surface.  We've got a very minimal combo of residual northwest swell and a tad of southwesterly energy in the water.

That's providing some really gutless little lines, with maybe a few that'll get you going on a log.  Most breaks in Laguna Beach are running no bigger than ankle-high.

At 5:40 this morning the tide pushed way up to a 5.5 high, which will have some spots a bit full or even shut-off early on.  The tide then drains out to a negative 0.6 low at 1:07 this afternoon.

If you're really in need of a salt water bath, then throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 58 degrees.  Good luck out there!!
