Monday Wave Check: Not a Lot Happening in The Pacific

There is little energy along this stretch of sand!

Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're not seeing much energy along this stretch of coast.  So, you'll probably want to head down south a bit where you can find a few playful-size waves.

The conditions are starting off pretty clean and glassy, with a mixture of mostly leftover west-northwest energy and just a little southwesterly swell in the water.  That's delivering some really weak and crumbly lines, with a few fun ones, with the small wave gear.

Most spots in Laguna Beach are running about knee-high, with the standout breaks pulling some thigh-high-plus waves, with not much more than that.

At 5:09 this morning the tide climbed up to a 4.7 high, which will have many spots pretty full and inconsistent early on.  The tide then drains out to a 0.0 low at 12:49 this afternoon.

If you're going to get wet, throw on that thicker fullsuit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees.  See ya in the water!
