New Assistant City Manager Announced In Laguna Beach
Gavin Curran has a total of 25 years of experience in municipal government, with 18 of those years being spent in Laguna Beach.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA β The City of Laguna Beach announced a change in management this week, as Gavin Curran takes the role as the next Assistant City Manager/Chief Financial Officer for the city.
Curran will succeed outgoing Assistant City Manager Ken Domer, who recently accepted the position of City Manager of the City of La Verne. Curran has 25 years of municipal government and finance experience, the city said, and 18 of those years have been dedicated to the City of Laguna Beach.
βOver his 18-year career with the City of Laguna Beach, Gavin has proven an outstanding ability to lead projects, build consensus and navigate the unique complexities and opportunities at the City,β Laguna Beach City Manager Shohreh Dupuis said in a statement. βI look forward to continuing to work with him as we introduce greater efficiencies into ongoing City operations, streamline and enhance our delivery of services to the community, and devote time and resources to employee wellness, growth and development.β

Curran will leave his role as Director of Administrative Services for the new position come Dec. 12, the city said.
