New Executive Director Joins Laguna Chamber Of Commerce

It was a New Year and a new mixer for the Chamber of Commerce. All met at the Laguna Beach Brewery to meet city council members & mingle.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce welcomed their new executive director at a mixer last Thursday. Paula Hornbuckle-Arnold will lead the charge for the new year, beginning with the annual Chamber Installation luncheon in February.

Paula Hornbuckle-Arnold joins the Chamber after serving 10 years on the board of directors for the Laguna Beach Boys and Girls Club.

No stranger to Laguna Beach philanthropy and business, Arnold served in various positions with the Boys and Girls Club including, President of the local Laguna Beach club and President of the Orange County Area Council. Most notably she was driving force, and chairperson, for the major annual fund-raising events, “Art-of-Giving Gala,” and “Girls Night Out.”

Arnold, a native of Las Vegas, has worked in the television and the hotel-casino industries prior to moving to Laguna Beach with her two daughters in 2003. She is married to local attorney, Bradley Arnold, and they live with their two dogs in South Laguna Beach. Her adult children live across the globe, with eldest daughter Lindsey living in Hong Kong with husband Sean Lanni, and son Mason. Her youngest daughter, Sara Hornbuckle, resides in New York City.

Of her new role with the Chamber, Arnold told Patch:
"I’m looking forward to working with our local businesses, the City of Laguna Beach and Visit Laguna to create not just shopping but an experience for residents and visitors alike!"

Among her first tasks for the new year, the annual Chamber Installation luncheon to be held on Feb. 28, they said.

Members will meet at Seven7Seven at 11 a.m. for that event.
