Open Casting Call For Pageant Of The Masters, Summer 2019

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — This weekend, see if you have what it takes to participate in the 2019 The Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach. The pageant is the world's most famous presentation of tableaux vivants, and is an open casting call January 4-6, 2019 for volunteer cast-members for the upcoming 2019 show, The Time Machine.

Individuals of all sizes and ages are needed, an event spokesperson said.

"The Pageant of the Masters is looking for men, women, and children to volunteer to stand still for 90 seconds in hopes to be casted in the 2019 Pageant of the Masters at the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach," they told us. "Prospective volunteers will be measured and photographed, enjoy refreshments and meet the behind-the-scenes Pageant staff."

No theater experience is necessary. The only requirement is the ability to stand still and have fun while doing so.

Pageant volunteers are also needed for positions in the wardrobe, make-up, and headdress departments, as well as, cast area coordinators and refreshment servers, among other positions.

• Friday, January 4 from 7 – 9pm
• Saturday, January 5 from 7 - 9pm
• Sunday, January 6 from 2 - 5pm
