Patriots Day Celebration Scheduled In Laguna Beach: What To Know
The annual Patriots Day Parade is a chance to honor residents who have served the Laguna Beach community and their nation.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — In Laguna Beach, Independence Day isn't the only day set aside to honor those who have contributed to our country and community. The annual Laguna Beach Patriots Day Parade is just around the corner, and residents are invited to get out on Saturday, March 14 to join in on the celebration.
According to the city's website, the Patriots Day Parade is generally held every year on the first or second Saturday of March. The parade honors residents who have served the Laguna Beach community, as well as those who have served the nation in times of war and national emergency.
Entries in the parade range from civic organizations to veterans' organizations, to school bands, floats, vintage automobiles and novelty groups.

The festivities begin at Laguna Beach High School on Park Avenue, with the parade heading down Park Avenue toward Glenneyre Street.
The parade will culminate outside of Laguna Beach City Hall before dispersing down Ocean Avenue.

Residents should expect street closures in the downtown area from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the day of the parade.
