The 15th Annual Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational collectors soiree, "Coastal Chic at Aliso Creek" was held on Saturday October 19th. The awards were announced and presented during the Soiree. The top awards given during the evening included:
- LPAPA's Lifetime Achievement Award to Mian Situ, internationally renowned Master Artist
- LPAPA's Lifetime Achievement Award to Jean Stern, Executive Director of the Irvine Museum
- LPAPA's Lifetime Membership Award to Julie Padach-Mathewson, Laguna Beach native
- $5,000 "Best in Show" presented by LPAPA to Scott W. Prior for his painting "St. Mary's Morning"
- $2,500 "Award of Excellence" presented by Mark Christy on behalf of the Friends at Aliso Creek Inn to Camille Przewodek for her painting "Morning Meditation"
- $1,000 "Argyros Family Foundation Award" presented by Lisa Argyros to Clark Mitchell for his "Free from Boundaries"
- $1,000 "Mathewson Family Foundation Award" presented by Charles N. Mathewson to Bryan Mark Taylor for his "Hotel Laguna"
- $1,000 "PADMA Group Award" presented by Julie Padach-Mathewson & Curtis Mathewson to Hiu Lai Chong for her "Laguna Lights"
- $1,000 "Distinctive Merit Award" presented by Seawind Properties to Rita Pacheco for her "Dinner Time"
- $1,000 "Dr. Edward H. Boseker Award" presented by Yvonne Boseker to Ebrahim Amin for his "Sunset at Lil Corona"
- $1,000 "Irvine Museum Prize" presented by Executive Director Jean Stern to Garin Baker for his painting "Crystal"
