Pole Replacement Continues On Balboa Avenue

Wednesday and Thursday, Southern California Edison will replace a utility pole, blocking pedestrian access to the fire road.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Southern California Edison is back at work this week.

On Wednesday, May 8, and Thursday, May 9, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Southern California Edison (SCE) will replace a utility pole located at the dead-end of Balboa Avenue, immediately north of the Del Mar Avenue intersection.

The emergency access fire road will be blocked during the work which has been coordinated with the Fire Department.

Pedestrians can access the Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park via Moulton Meadows Park during the work.
