Polestar Stolen From Laguna Beach Dealership, Suspect Arrested In Newport Beach
The Tennessee man was arrested for stealing the car from a vehicle showroom in Laguna Beach on Saturday, authorities say.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A Tennessee man was arrested Saturday for stealing a Volvo Polestar from a vehicle showroom in Laguna Beach, the Laguna Beach Police Department reported.
Officers were dispatched to the site of the crash early Saturday morning, where they found an exterior glass wall shattered and a brick retaining wall destroyed, authorities said.
Officers also found damage throughout the building, including multiple vehicles vandalized and a Polestar missing.

After several hours, the stolen Polestar was seen in Newport Beach and a pursuit took place. Ultimately, Newport Beach Police officers arrested Arshad Allauddin, 41, of Tennessee on suspicion of a drug-related DUI including felony evading and vehicle theft.
