According to the school district, “On Monday, April 11, a Laguna Beach High School student reported information to school officials that he overheard a student make suspected threats against the school. LBHS staff immediately notified the Laguna Beach Police Department (LBPD) and the information was thoroughly investigated. LBPD spoke to a student who had made the possible threats, and at this time, there is no longer a threat to the school. The incident has been mitigated and LBPD detectives are looking at filing criminal charges against the student.”
Kleiser expects the investigation to be completed by next week.
