Did you play Powerball this week? There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Saturday evening's drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery and the estimated jackpot for Saturday's drawing is expected to grow to $261 million.
No ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was sold. Such a ticket would have been worth slightly above $361,000.
The numbers drawn were 1, 28, 40, 45, 48 and the Powerball number was 12. The estimated jackpot was $239 million.

Didn't win? That's okay. There are lots of other prizes if you matched even one number.
In California, two lucky ticket holders matched two plus the Powerball and will bring home over $45,000 each!

The 41 who matched 4 will grab a quick $586.
The 137 ticket holders who matched 3, plus Powerball, will garner $182.
Still, nearly 3,700 Powerball tickets matched 3, and will get $7.
The 3,000 who matched 2 plus the Powerball and will be allotted a whopping $8.
Those 24,000 Californians who matched one number plus the Powerball will get $5 and finally the lucky 57,000 tickets that matched the Powerball number earn a $43. Worth the price of admission, if you only bought one ticket.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in about 293 million, according to the Powerball website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.87.
The Powerball game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
