Public Invited To Rivian Donation Ceremony In Laguna Beach
Rivian will donate two electric vehicles to the city's Marine Safety Department during a ceremony Monday, Nov. 4.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The City of Laguna Beach's Marine Safety Department is about to get a little more environmentally-conscientious, after Rivian announced that it would donate two electric vehicles to the department in a special ceremony Monday, Nov. 4.
"This generous donation initiates the city's transition to zero-emission fleet vehicles, moving away from gas-powered options," the city said in a statement.
The special event starts at 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4 at Main Beach Park, with a reception following at Rivian, 162 S. Coast Highway.
