Reckless Driver Arrested In Laguna Beach
A driver was seen driving recklessly near South Coast Highway & Nyes Place Monday was arrested after a harrowing chase across Laguna Beach.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The driver of a black BMW seen driving northbound on Coast Highway in Laguna beach Monday morning was arrested for driving recklessly through the city, according to Laguna Beach police reports.
Initially seen on South Coast Highway and Nyes Place at approximately 7:30 a.m., the new BMW--bearing paper plates and dark tinted windows--hit a curb and began its wild weaving through traffic.
Over the next almost hour, Laguna Beach Police officers attempted to pull the driver over as it passed Bluebird Canyon Drive, and nearly struck another vehicle at Mountain Road, then did strike a parked white Volkswagon near Thalia Drive.

"The suspect's vehicle took off the mirror of a white Volkswagon," Laguna Beach Police Department reported.
Police followed the BMW driver into the Chevron gas station at Legion Street and South Coast Highway, where they approached the driver.

Huntington Beach resident Ryan Christopher Giglio was arrested for reckless driving and hit and run, with a bail set at $10,000, according to Laguna Beach police.
The BMW was towed.
