Register To Vote By Mail In Orange County

Planning on voting by mail for the June 5 Orange County elections? Tuesday was the last day to apply for that vote-by-mail ballot.

Voting by mail is one of the easiest ways to ensure your vote is heard.

Tuesday evening, at 11:59 p.m. to be exact, is the deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot for the June 5 statewide primary election, according to Orange County Registrar of Voters.

Vote-by-mail ballots that are mailed must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by your county elections office no later than 3 days after Election Day, the Registrar of Voters said.

The biggest challenges for voting by mail are "if the ballot envelopes are unsigned" or if the signature "doesn't match the voter's signature," California's registrar of voters said in an informational video.

Voters can register to vote by mail by midnight on May 29, or register to vote in person by applying online at www.OCVote.com
