LAGUNA BEACH, CA β Do you have thoughts about making roadways in Laguna Beach safer for everyone? The city wants to hear from you.
Residents were urged to take part in a community survey as the city works to create a plan to improve traffic safety for people walking, biking or driving.
The plan, dubbed "Safer Streets Laguna Beach," is a citywide effort to improve safety using a data-driven approach to reduce crashes and fatalities in Laguna Beach.

Project goals of "Safer Streets Laguna Beach" include:
- Improving roadway safety outcomes and eliminating crash that result in fatalities or severe injuries.
- Identifying local roadway safety trends and strategies to reduce crashes.
- Engaging the local community through a series of in-person events and online surveys.
- Developing effective and equitable projects, policies, and processes tailored to Laguna Beach.
