Restaurant Catches Fire In Laguna Beach
A popular restaurant caught fire overnight Thursday on South Coast Highway.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Thursday night was a busy one for Laguna Beach Firefighters, according to the department. A fire broke out near the C'est la Vie Restaurant and Bakery, located on South Coast Highway at around midnight, a restaurant spokesperson said. That blaze remained confined to the kitchen, Patch was told.
Though C'est la Vie was still closed at 11 a.m. on Friday, they hoped to reopen by early afternoon. No one was inside at the time of the fire, they said.
"Firefighters had to force the front door to gain access," a fire department spokesperson said over Instagram. No one was injured in the blaze.
