Road Reopened In Laguna Beach, Police say

Movement of the slope and flooding on the road prompted Laguna Beach Police to close this section of road, Sunday. It is now open, again.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Park Avenue was reopened to traffic on Monday morning at just before 8:45 a.m. police said.

After torrential rains have flooded the region, road flooding and movement of the slope prompted Laguna Beach Police Department to close a section of road from Sunday to Monday morning, Jan. 23.

"Park Avenue is closed between Wendt Terrace and Tahiti due to hillside movement and flooding," Police said.

The road was closed at approximately 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22.
