Salary For Laguna Beach Unified Superintendent Raised To $331K: Report
A three percent pay increase bumped Laguna Beach Unified School District's top administrator's salary up to $331,813 starting Friday.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach Unified School District Supt. Jason Viloria received a three percent pay increase starting Friday, bumping his pay up to $331,813, the Laguna Beach Independent reported.
The pay increase was approved along with other contract amendments by the Board of Education of a 4-1 vote June 23, the report said, with Board member Dee Perry dissenting.
According to the Laguna Beach Independent, Viloria had pulled in a $322,149 base annual salary that was approved by the board last June. School board members were unable to meet before the June 23 meeting to discuss Viloria's performance due to scheduling conflicts, the report said.
