Sally's Fund In Laguna Beach Seeks Donations To Keep Wheels Turning

Amid surging gas prices, a Laguna Beach nonprofit is calling upon the community to help the group in their mission to transport seniors.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — While record-breaking gas prices continue to make California residents feel pain at the pump, one Laguna Beach nonprofit is staying strong in its mission to transport local seniors.

Now, Sally's Fund is calling upon residents for donations in order to keep the nonprofit's gas tanks full and Laguna Beach seniors moving.

"Even with high gas prices, we are committed to keeping our seniors on the move," a Sally's Fund news release said.

The nonprofit offers mobility services to seniors across Laguna Beach, such as trips to dental or medical appointments, errands and social events like Bingo at the Susi Q Center.

Residents can donate to help fund Sally's Fund's mission by donating to the nonprofit through Facebook.

"Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps," A Sally's Fund news release said. "Sally's Fund helps Laguna Beach's frail seniors continue living safely and independently in their homes by providing transportation and other essential services. We want them to keep on keeping on, living lives full of dignity and enjoyment."
