Scam Alert: Laguna Beach Officials Warn Residents Of New Phone Scam
The City of Laguna Beach has heard reports of phone scams circulating in the community. Here's what to know.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach City officials warned residents of a new phone scam that has been circulating the community on Thursday.
According to officials, the city received reports of the scam through Visit Laguna Beach.
"It looks as though someone is calling local Laguna Beach residents and pretending to be selling ads in a magazine on behalf of The Ranch at Laguna Beach," a city statement said.

The Ranch at Laguna Beach is not currently selling ads, nor is The Ranch working with anyone to create a magazine. Residents who receive similar calls are asked to report the scam to the Laguna Beach Police Department, 949-497-0701.
