Sea Lion Waited On A Friend & Together They're Viral: The DoDo
A Laguna Beach sea lion waited on a friend before hitting the open water and made it to the Dodo this week.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A couple of sea lions made their way to the shore, but when one was a little too shy to leave his crate, his buddy wouldn't leave without him. It's a touching story, played out in this viral video of the duo.
"She refused to go back home without her best friend, so she kept running back to get him," the Dodo said of the Pacific Marine Mammal Center sea lions. Known as Ensign and Ledger, the pair of adorable sea lions were rescued and rehabilitated by the Pacific Marine Mammal Center and were released in July.
"Ensign came out waited around for Ledger to get out of the kennel," a PMMC spokesperson said. "Then she took off but realized Ledger wasn't with her so went back and then they headed out together."
