Sewage Spill Leads To Laguna Beach Road Closure

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A sewage spill at 7th Street and Coast Highway was reported on Friday afternoon, and drivers were told to expect delays.

The spill was reported at noon, and 30 minutes later cleanup was still in progress. Workers were not able to give an estimate for how long the cleanup efforts would last.

7th Avenue would remain closed at Coast Highway until the spill is cleaned up, Patch was told.

Access to Mission Hospital Laguna Beach remained available at 5th Avenue, according to police.
