Sick Sea Lion Hitches A Ride To Orange County On Family's Boat
The malnourished sea lion, whom Ellie named Chump, jumped on the boat's swim step and fell asleep.

A hitchhiking sea lion pup got a visit from a familiar face at the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach on Thursday.

"I can tell he's filled out already," father Matthew Miller said.
Miller and his 11-year-old daughter Ellie met the little pup last month while they were sailing off the coast of San Clemente. Right away, they realized something was wrong.
