Special Olympics Torch Run Thursday, Traffic Delays Possible

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Residents of Laguna Beach prepared for the Special Olympics Torch Run on Thursday morning.

Northbound Coast Highway from Cliff Drive to Newport Coast would be slowed to traffic, officials warned, as the torch made its way through.

Inbound Laguna Canyon Road remained open during this time, though outbound Laguna Canyon Road between Canyon Acres and 2000 LCR was closed until 8 a.m. officials, said.

The torch was set to run between 7:45 a.m. and 9 a.m.
