Stalker Suspect Arrested In Laguna Beach
She woke to find a man in her room, Laguna Beach police said.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A 28-year-old man was behind bars Monday on suspicion of stalking and threatening a former girlfriend in Laguna Beach.
The investigation of Gregory Murray began on June 8 when the victim said she woke up to find a man in her room, who was later identified as Murray, according to Laguna Beach police Sergeant Jim Cota.
Murray and the woman dated for about three months in 2015, Cota said.

When the relationship ended, Murray allegedly sent about 150 "harassing emails, as well as threatening text messages and messages over social media to the victim and members of her family as recently as March," Cota added.
Murray, who lives in Laguna Beach, was questioned by police on Friday and after he allegedly confessed he was arrested on suspicion of stalking, criminal threats and burglary, Cota said. He was being held on $50,000 bail.
